2. Your rights<\/h2>\n

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.<\/p>\n

An informal message to the address above is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.<\/p>\n

3. Hosting and server log files<\/h2>\n

This website is operated by an external hosting provider that processes data on our behalf.<\/p>\n

Each time the site is accessed, server log files are recorded automatically: IP address, date and time, page accessed, volume of data transferred, referrer, browser type and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website. Log files are deleted once they are no longer required for this purpose.<\/p>\n

4. Orders and customer accounts<\/h2>\n

When you place an order we process your master data (name, address, e-mail address, telephone number where applicable), contract data (goods ordered, prices) and payment data. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.<\/p>\n

You may optionally create a customer account. You can have it deleted at any time.<\/p>\n

Commercial and tax retention obligations (\u00a7 257 HGB, \u00a7 147 AO) require us to retain invoice and accounting data for six and ten years respectively. For that period, processing is restricted to archiving.<\/p>\n

Recipients of your data are the logistics company commissioned with shipping and our tax advisor, in each case only to the extent required.<\/p>\n

5. Payment processing<\/h2>\n

For payments we use Mollie B.V., Keizersgracht 126, 1015 CW Amsterdam, Netherlands. When you select a payment method, the data required for processing is transmitted to Mollie, including name, amount, order number and payment details. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We do not receive full card details ourselves.<\/p>\n

6. Invoices<\/h2>\n

Invoices and delivery notes are generated on our own server. No transfer to third parties takes place.<\/p>\n

7. E-mail delivery<\/h2>\n

System e-mails such as order confirmations, shipping notifications and password resets are sent via an external SMTP provider processing on our behalf.<\/p>\n

8. Contacting us<\/h2>\n

If you contact us via a form or by e-mail, we process your details in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no retention obligations apply.<\/p>\n

9. Newsletter<\/h2>\n

For our newsletter we use Mailchimp, operated by The Rocket Science Group LLC, 405 N Angier Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA, an Intuit Inc. company. Registration uses the double opt-in procedure. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every e-mail.<\/p>\n

For transfers to the USA we rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.<\/p>\n

10. Cookies and embedded services<\/h2>\n

We set technically necessary cookies on the basis of \u00a7 25(2) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. These include the shopping basket, session management and your language choice.<\/p>\n

We do not use any analytics, tracking or marketing services.<\/strong> In particular, no reach measurement and no profiling takes place.<\/p>\n

To display the site, the following resources are loaded from external servers. Your IP address is transmitted to the respective provider in the process; no cookies are set by this:<\/p>\n

    We use WPML to switch languages. A technically necessary cookie stores your language choice. No transfer to third parties takes place.<\/p>\n
