Clear, bright ruby red with violet reflections. The nose greets you with a bouquet of freshly crushed raspberries, plums, and dark cherries, underpinned by delicate lavender, anise, and subtle notes of lightly toasted oak. On the palate, it is initially very juicy and “drinkable,” with an invigorating freshness and fine spice. The berry fruit is ripe and pure, with a cool mineral note. The tannins are subtle and fine-grained. The Pinot possesses a mineral tension, creating a wonderful symbiosis of perfectly ripened grapes and the cool aromatics of the terroir. The wine seduces with its playful nature, while gracefully hinting at its depth and aging potential. Once again, the winemakers show what is possible with Pinot Noir in these regions under ideal conditions. Simply “fantastique”!
